Shelley Thompson (born March 9 1959) is a Canadian actress. Thompson played Sarah's step-mother in Labyrinth.


Thompson is best known for her recurring role in the Canadian mockumentary series, Trailer Park Boys.

Raised in AB, Ca., trained in the UK, Shelley Thompson is a CFA who is very much at home in NS!

UK work included the West End (Me and My Girl, Rick’s Bar, Casablanca) and the Royal National Theatre (After The Fall).

Leading roles in regional theatres including Ipswich and the Bristol Old Vic, and a long running TV series - Mike and Angelo (Thames TV)

Favorite work in Canada  includes: Ariel-The Tempest, Viola-Twelfth Night at the ATF (dir Michael Langham), Closer-The Neptune, Shakespeare Unplugged-Willpower and the Globe Theatre Regina, and numerous productions for Festival Antigonish including Sexy Laundry, Grace, and Glorious. Awarded a Nova Scotia Theatre Award (Merritt - Actress in a Leading Role) for Bob Metcalfe’s 2009 FAST production, she reprised the role of Florence in Winnipeg at PTE in April 2010.

Extensive television, radio and film  incl: Barb (Trailer Park Boys - 7 Series, 2 Features, one Christmas Special).

Received Best Supporting Actor at the Love Unlimited Film Festival LA, California,  for her part in WAKE, a short film by Jeremy Webb. 

Recently and at present (2013):

A documentary film on House Concerts (creator/producer/writer), a new play (Eastern Front Playwright'a Unit) called Wonderland, actor in the indie film Bunker 6 directed by Greg Jackson, and a creation project with Halifax Theatre for Young People in association with Eastern Front’s Super Nova Festival.
