Sarah's room is filled with a number of items feeding her imagination. She owns several fantasy books, including The Wizard of Oz, Walt Disney's Snow White annual, Where the Wild Things Are, Alice in Wonderland, and Grimm's Fairy Tales, as well the games Judge Dredd, Dungeons & Dragons, Ludo, and a maze game resembling a labyrinth.

There are dolls that look quite a bit like Ludo, Sir Didymus, and one of the Fireys. Other decorations include a bookend that looks like Hoggle, and a statuette of Jareth. M. C. Escher's lithograph Relativity hangs on her wall along with posters for various musicals, including Cats and Evita. She also owns a collection of bears, her favorite of which is named Lancelot.

While in the junk yard outside the Goblin City, Sarah was led back to an illusory version of her room by the Junk Lady, only to discover that it was nothing but a trick to draw her away from finding her brother Toby.

Behind the scenes[]
